We have identified about 157 different bird species I the area.
Since Mamoli was been rebuilt in 2002 we have watched the bird life return to this magnificent part of Southern Mozambique. The resident staff at Mamoli started keeping a close eye on our birds in the region and have since spotted some really remarkable birds such at the Grass owl, the Osprey, Palm Nut Vulture and Pink Throated long claw.
Mamoli has since been inspired to build some bird hides and bird hiking routes in the region. To assist the avid birder we have also drawn up a bird list for the region.
